36 new Covid-19 cases, 26 more recoveries reported in Humboldt County Friday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department reports 36 new cases of covid-19 Friday. The total case count is now 1,231 with health officials monitoring 307 active cases.

The dashboard has also been updated when it comes to hospital capacity. There are currently 4 people hospitalized for Covid-19 in the County. In the County, 10.7% of ICU beds are still available. The Northern California region’s ICU availability is at 26.6%.

The biggest type of transmission has been contact with a known case. There are 500 cases still being investigated. On a more encouraging note, 26 more recoveries were also reported bringing that number to 914.
