13 new Covid-19 cases, 4 more recoveries reported in Humboldt County Friday

HUMBOLDT COUTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms 13 new cases of Covid-19 Friday.

Health officials are tracking 400 active cases. Over 47% of cases are still under investigation as far as means of transmission.

Seven people are currently hospitalized for Covid-19, and 3 of those people are in the ICU. The Northern California region’s ICU capacity has dropped again to 21%. Remember, 15% is that threshold that would trigger a regional stay at home order.

On a more encouraging note, 4 more recoveries were also reported bringing that total number to 972.
