Michelle Bushnell sworn in as Humboldt County 2nd District Supervisor

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors has a new member 2nd District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell who was officially sworn in Monday afternoon. The virtual ceremony was held via Zoom.

Bushnell defeated incumbent Estelle Fennell by 416 votes in the closest local race of the 2020 election and after a month of counting votes. Bushnell will take part in her first supervisors meeting Tuesday morning.

Supervisors Rex Bohn and Mike Wilson were also sworn in after being re-elected in March. Bohn for his 4th term and Wilson for his 2nd.
