the first two robberies happened on December 18 and January 8th at the Coast Central Credit Union F Street Branch in Arcata.

According to Arcata’s Police Detective Luke Scown – no one was hurt, but urges anyone with information to call them, even if they think it’s not important.

On Saturday at about 5 p.m., the suspect struck again, this time in Eureka – at the Coast Central Credit Union Inside Bayshore Mall.

Public Information Officer Brittney Powell with the Eureka Police Department says the FBI found similarities with the Arcata bank robberies and got involved.

“We were notified that there was a panic alarm, that a male entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanded money and got away with an undisclosed amount of money,” she said.

FBI’s Media Coordinator Cameron Rodgers Polan with the San Francisco division says, the suspect could be anywhere along the coast of Northern California.

“Well, we do think that because the community is, the central coast region there is so small, we could really reach out the locals and find him,” she said.

The white male suspect was noted to have good posture and stands at about 5 feet 6 to 8 inches tall weighing about 170-pounds with a medium build and medium complexions – he was last seen wearing a Fox or Dickies hoodie and baggy dark pants.

“We have created this wanted poster so we can publish it beyond just that area,” We can reach all areas The Bay and the Northern Coastal region.”
