3 Covid-19 related deaths, 29 new cases reported Friday


HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department reports 3 Covid-19 related deaths Friday. One person was in their 60’s, and the other two were in their 70’s.

There were 29 additional cases also reported Friday. The total case count has risen to 2,754. Health officials are monitoring 308 active cases.

There are 13 people currently hospitalized in the county, and 2 are in the ICU. Northern California’s ICU capacity remains unchanged for Friday.

On a more encouraging note, 16 more recoveries were also reported bringing that number to 2,416.
