The community steps up to help a local business

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)- The Kneeland Glen Farm Stand in Eureka was also broken into this week past week and lost a lot, but the community stepped up to help out.

After learning about the farm stand being ransacked, a family decided to help out by starting a go fund me page to help out the owner.

The owner of the farm stand, Kathy Mullen, says that she is very grateful to the community for the support she has received.

“I’m almost speechless as to the beauty of our community and it’s why I do this,” said Mullen. “I grew up in this community and it was such a beautiful and safe community at one time and I’m determined to keep it a wonderful community.”
