HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department has reported only 5 new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday. This is the lowest number of cases reported in a single day since November 18th.

The total case count is 2,960 with health officials tracking 163 active cases. Two new hospitalizations have been reported. There are 12 people currently in the hospital and 5 are in the ICU. Northern California’s ICU capacity has increase to 36%.
