HC Black Music & Arts Association preps for Legacy Heritage Food Drive

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM)-The HC Black Music and Arts association is asking for your help to feed local families of color in the community.

The Legacy Heritage Food Drive’s goal is to provide fresh vegetables and canned goods to families that have been hit hard from the pandemic.

Later this month on February 27th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. members of the association will walk from D Street Park down streets of main Arcata. This will include 11th, 14th, 16th, H, and G Streets.

Then the following day on February 28^th, distribution will take place between the hours of 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
