The 2 cars collided in the intersection and knocked down power lines. Police say power didn’t appear to be impacted in the area, as there were no reports of outages. Two drivers and two passengers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries out of an abundance of caution. The cause is under investigation.

“You know, it’s a controlled intersection, so it’s hard to say. We’ll be looking into whether or not a light violation potentially, but you know we haven’t had a chance to fully interview both drivers yet to figure out what happened,” according to Sergeant Eddie Wilson.
