10 new Covid-19 cases reported in Humboldt County Friday, all residents 16 and older now eligible for a vaccine

HUMBOLDT COUNT, Calif. (KIEM) — Some big news on the vaccine front, all Humboldt County residents 16 and older can now sign up for a Covid-19 vaccination through the state’s MyTurn portal. This is about a week ahead of schedule. You can schedule an appointment by visiting www.myturn.ca.gov.  

Now looking at the data, the Humboldt County Public Health Department has reported 10 new cases of Covid-19 Friday bringing the total case count to 3,518. Health officials are monitoring 51 active cases in the community.

Zero recoveries were reported, so that total number stands at 3,431. The County will receive just over 11,500 doses of Covid-19 vaccine for next week. That includes the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
