68 new Covid-19 cases, 64 recoveries reported in Humboldt County since Friday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department has reported 68 new cases of Covid-19 since Friday. The total case count now stands at 3,785. Health officials are monitoring 167 active cases in the community.

In the last week, 16 more cases have been reported in northern Humboldt, 127 more in the greater Humboldt Bay area, and 17 more in southern Humboldt. Twenty year olds and 30 year olds are tied for the biggest weekly increase with 35 new cases reported for each group, followed by people in their 50’s with 27 new cases reported.
