Humboldt Bay Fire – Water Rescue Training

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – This week Humboldt Bay Fire Department has been teaming up with the United States Coast Guard and California State Park Lifeguards to train for open water rescues.

Four members of the fire department’s Water Rescue Team will be taking part in the training.  It will be going on throughout the week at Eureka’s Bonnie Gool Dock, Halverson Park, the foot of Del Norte Street, and other local beaches.
