Suspicious Death Investigation on Herrick Avenue

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)- On September 1st, shortly before 7:00 a.m., Humboldt County’s Sheriff deputies responded to a call of a man needing medical aid.

When they arrived at the scene at Elk river Road and Herrick Avenue, they located the victim and he was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The cause of death is being investigated and the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Division has take over this case.
