Grand Reopening of Crescent Elk Auditorium

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. (KIEM)- The Crescent Elk Auditorium has been undergoing renovations for the past 18 months and will be revealed to the public on Friday, November 19^th at 7:00 P.M. The renovation of the building was made possible by many community members. The re-opening will have performances and guest artists. The event will also be live-streamed at DNUSD.org.

The auditorium, built-in 1929, has seen very little maintenance over the past half-century and was in an advanced state of disrepair.  Given the fact that it’s the largest concert-appropriate venue in the county, it was time to fix the problem for the students and the community,” said Nick Rail, a community member from Crescent City.
