Attempted Murder Arrest

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. (KIEM) A Crescent City man is being charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting his neighbor in the chest. 35-year-old Gordan Ray Cotanay is jailed on a $250,000 bond. He reportedly got into an argument with a neighbor along Del Mar Road. Del Norte deputies say the dispute turned violent a short time later with Cotanay grabbing a shotgun and shooting the man.
