Bicyclist Struck by a Car

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM) Authorities say a car struck a bicyclist along a city street on the evening of February 10, 2022. The collision happened on Spear Avenue between the Alliance and West End Road. Police say the bicyclist was seriously hurt and rushed by ambulance to the hospital. There is no immediate word on the victim’s condition. Officers closed down a portion of Spear Avenue to investigate. They haven’t yet indicated what led up to that collision.
