Pedestrian struck by car in Arcata

ARCATA, Calif.(KIEM)- A pedestrian was struck by a car in Arcata and trapped underneath it.

It happened around one o’clock this afternoon in front of Wildberries Market in Arcata.

The vehicle reportedly struck two people, one of them becoming trapped underneath the car. The person trapped was eventually freed and taken by ambulance to the hospital. There was no immediate word on that victim’s condition.
