The North Coast Repertory Theater (NCRT) is presenting an original play called “Never After Happily”— a creative and fun twist about fairytale characters we all know and love.

Director, Scott “Q”Marcus, shares the overall theme of the play.

“Tt is a silly, over-the-top, just fun farce that relies on the theme that in the end, what is happiness? and it just boils down to it’s all about love,” Marcus said.

His sister and well-known playwright, Cindy Marcus created “Never After Happily” and says that it is an important and personal piece for her.

“I came up with this play because I was interested in the idea of happily ever after, and is that possible? Is it possible to be happy forever?” Cindy Marcus said. “Then as I was working with it and playing with it, it was like, ‘oh my gosh, this piece is really about my life experience.’”

After about two months of work; the brother–sister duo is beyond thrilled to see it all come to life.

“Seeing it come together is so awesome!” Cindy said. “I am having the time of my life […] this is an extraordinary company of people.”

This family run production is sure to make you laugh and feel engaged with the characters. Audience members will be part of the experience throughout the entire play.

“From the time you are in our care, and while you are here, all your worries, all your troubles, all the stresses of the day are just gone,” Scott “Q” Marcus said.

A special fundraising performance for C.A.P.E will be held on the 14th at 8 p.m.

Opening night will be this Friday on the 17th, and it will run until the 26th of this month.

$15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors!
