ARCATA, Ca. KIEM- A fire investigation is underway tonight in Arcata after a two-story farmhouse is engulfed in flames overnight!
Firefighters from eight local fire departments responded to the home on West End Court.
This is near the 101-299 interchange.
There were eight engines on scene, plus Arcata Police, and PG&E workers.
The fire crew fought the flames for an hour and a half, but they were unable to save the house, and the second floor fully collapsed!
A total loss, but no injuries were reported.
Now, investigators are determining what sparked the fire!
