As we get into our later Monday evening hours, we are looking to have patchy fog along the coast line during the overnight hours. Temperatures will drop to the 50s and 60s around the region. A Coastal Flood Advisory will be in effect from 11PM until 1AM for lower-lying areas around Humboldt Bay, with the biggest impacts around King Salmon and Jackson Ranch Road in the Arcata Bottoms. High tides are expected to be over eight feet, which could cause flooding and temporary road closures in these areas. Winds will be on the calm side. Getting into tomorrow, or better known as Independence Day, we are looking to have plenty of sunshine around the region, especially in the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the 60s through 100s for the viewing area and winds will remain more on the calm side. Tomorrow evening though, we could have some foggy conditions around Humboldt Bay, leaving some of us disappointed with the weather. More clear conditions can be expected inland. Lows will be in the 50s and 60s again. Getting to the second half of this week, we are looking to have more clouds rolling into our viewing area, which will help cool many of the inland cities down a bit. We are looking to have temperatures drop just to the 50s for the coast and to the 80s for the inland areas. Getting into next weekend, we are looking at a slight elevation in temperatures, which will bring us to the 60s through 90s for highs getting into next week.
