The Humboldt Community Services District announced a “3-day” boil water advisory.

This alert is for the areas of Mitchell Road, Myrtletown, Ryan’s Slough and Freshwater.

This is due to a transmission main break near Eureka.

The district was notified today at 1-pm that some cloudy water containing mineral deposits or soil may have been delivered.

HCSD states they have issued the boil water advisory out of an abundance of caution.

No evidence of contaminated water was discovered.

The boil water advisory is again for 3-days.

The water district will continue to test the water-and alert customers after the 3-days are up.
