Injured Fortuna football player Foley improving

SANTA ROSA- There’s some encouraging news for Bailey Foley. He’s the injured Fortuna football player who remains at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

Foley, who sustained a brain injury in the season opener at Cardinal Newman, is out of a coma. The senior is showing movement with both of his arms. He also opened his right eye.

Earlier in the week, Foley’s teammates held a carwash and raised $3,000.

Bailey’s mom Tara Johnson told News Channel 3 she wants to thank the community for all their support and prayers.
