FORTUNA- After earning three wins at home, Fortuna football now hits the road for the next several weeks. The 3-1 Huskies face undefeated Mountain House Friday night for a non-league contest.
But the big news is away from the field. Injured football player Bailey Foley continues to show improvement. He is no longer in the ICU and will be moved to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland.
The 17 year-old Foley sustained a stroke during the Huskies road game August 25 at Cardinal Newman.
Mary Samms of Carlotta, like many other North Coast residents donated money to Bailey and his family. She then won the 3 Degree contest on News Channel 3 and decided to double her donation amount.
