Until December 1 decision, HSU football plays waiting game

ARCATA- There’s been a dark cloud over Humboldt State football all season long. While not knowing the future of the program, the players stayed focused and posted an 8-2 record.

Usually, now is the time when the coaching staff gets together and starts to get ready for the next season. But not knowing if football will be back due to balancing the budget, they are forced to wait and see.

Another $100,000 needs to be raised to reach the $500,000 goal. HSU President Lisa Rossbacher announced Monday, the final decision will be made December first.
