Plan for Eureka Pediatrics closure to be announced this week

EUREKA – Thousands of patients who rely on Eureka Pediatrics for medical services will have a better idea of what’s in store for the practice this Friday.
In early November, the office announced it was closing as of December 31 due, in part, to an inability to recruit physicians.
Office Manager Elesha Hernandez said the practice’s three MDs and two Nurse Practitioners want to stay in the area and hoped to have a plan in place before Thanksgiving.
Now she says they are finalizing that plan and will make a formal announcement on Friday.
