Sleeping felon with firearm awakes to arrest

EUREKA – A felon was arrested when deputies found him taking a nap with a gun in his lap.
Around 1:00 Tuesday morning, a deputy discovered 21-year-old Peter James Little Raccoon Hunsucker sleeping in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle in the Starbucks parking lot on Myrtle.
The deputy noticed a loaded firearm on his lap and safely removed it.
Hunsucker was booked in to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on numerous charges including being a felon in possession of a firearm and violation of probation.
