Fortuna football leaves for State Championship

Fortuna- The Fortuna football team left the Friendly City Thursday morning for the State Championship in Anaheim.

They will face Katella in Saturday’s big game. It’s the first time in school history the football team will play for a state title.

The players and coaches were escorted out of Fortuna led by both Fortuna Police and the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office.
