Humboldt Bay Fire Chief speaks on promotion

Humboldt Bay Fire has promoted within the department for its next leader, Sean Robertson is the new chief. His official start date is August 1^st.

Bill Reynolds has served as the interim chief. Robertson has 20 years’ experience with Humboldt Bay Fire. He was promoted to engineer and then worked his way up the ranks of captain and battalion chief. Robertson has been instrumental in the departments training and operations division. His goals are to have a strong department and have a close working relationship with the community.
