Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- The Del Norte County Sheriff’s office issued a lip sync challenge, and if you though Humboldt County deputies weren’t going to respond, you must have confused them with someone else. The lip sync battle between local law enforcement has just begun, as a fun way for officers to show character, and relate to the community. Sheriff William Honsal is passing the torch now, nominating Humboldt Bay Fire, Arcata Fire, the Fortuna Police Department, HSU Police Department, Arcata Police Department and Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.

Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office shows off lip syncing skills in viral video

HCSO is not the only agency responding to the original video. The probation department answered their call out, first with this very formal reply. Their video has not yet been released, but they have “20 or more court days.”
