Car seat inspections offered for free on Friday in Eureka

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Local law enforcement agencies will take part in a free car seat check up event on Friday.

The event is organized by the Humboldt County Child Passenger Safety Coalition. You’re asked to bring your child, your car seat, the owner’s manual, and your vehicle. Each inspection is expected to last about thirty minutes.

Car seat check ups will take place between 1-3PM on Friday, in the Target parking lot in Eureka.
