BUTTE COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – Evacuations orders are once again issued for the same Northern California area that was devastated by the Camp Fire. Only this time, it’s due to flooding.

The Butte County Sheriff’s Office has issued an evacuation order in parts of the county that were recently burned by the record breaking wildfire. Authorities fear the flood waters will loosen remaining vegetation, and cause mudslides.

The evacuation has been ordered from Skyway, to the Paradise city limits.

Some of the roads affected by the flooding are major routes into and out of Paradise, which was decimated by the fire. Multiple roads have been closed near highways and major streets.
