The Sequoia Park Zoo gives free admission to federal employees affected by Government Shutdown

EUREKA, Ca.,(KIEM)- The Sequoia Park Zoo is allowing federal employees and their families affected by the Government Shutdown come to the Zoo free of charge.

All you have to do when you go there is show proof of residence and federal employment. This is a country-wide trend that other Zoos are also doing as well.

It’s something Sequoia Park just announced Wednesday.  Sequoia park zoo director Gretchen Ziegler says it just seem like the right thing to do to help everyone out in this tough situation.
