Man arrested following home invasion, high speed pursuit

EUREKA (KIEM)- One of the Orleans home invasion suspects who led law enforcement on a high speed chase is behind bars.

Acting on a tip from a citizen, at around 9:45 Friday morning, a Yurok Tribal Police officer located 26 year-old Timothy Robert Ulrich junior at the Veterans Cemetery.

He was identified as the driver behind of the wheel of a Chevy Silverado in Thursday’s police pursuit on Bald Hills Road. The truck was stolen after a home invasion robbery in Orleans.

Ulrich was found in possession of a loaded firearm and 79 grams of meth. He was booked on charges of a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and probation violation. Additional charges may follow.

The female passenger hasn’t been located. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office.
