McKay Community Forest Draft Trail Plan released

CUTTEN, CA. (KIEM) – For all you lovers of trails out there. We have some good news. A blueprint has been released for a 27-mile multi-use, multiple ability trails, and it’ll be right here in Humboldt County.

It’s called the McKay Community Forest Trail. The proposed layout of the trail and access points. Starting this summer the trails will be developed incrementally. In 2018 a parking area was constructed in Cutten. Deputy Director of Humboldt County Public Works Services says it’s just the beginning of an outstanding outdoor experience.
