Friends and Colleagues Raising Funds for Scholarship in Honor of Former St. Joseph Nurse

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Months after the gruesome murder of 39-year old Astraia Pulliam, a scholarship is now in the works to honor her legacy.

Astraia was a nurse at St. Joseph hospital, and to keep her spirit alive. Several friends and colleagues are raising funds for the Astraia Pulliam Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship is in the early stages, but it plans to help a CR nursing student who is a single mother.
