Ferndale youth basketball goes 21-1 with clean play

FERNDALE, CA. (KIEM) – A youth boys basketball team from Ferndale had one of its best seasons of all time. The team comprised of eight players were undefeated in the A-1 division, breaking a 15-year dry spell. Dru Miller brings us the story of their success in tonight’s sporting youth.

Coaches Rex Rigney and assistant Kent Willes said jokingly their team reminds them of the 1986 movie, Hoosiers. Because they’re a small town team who were able to win the whole thing.
