Second Round of Coastal Commissioner Nominations

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – 4th District Supervisor Virginia Bass and 3rd District Supervisor Mike Wilson are both in consideration for a spot on the Coastal Commission.

Back in February, the board previously nominated Eureka City Council Member Natalie Arroyo and Arcata City Mayor Brett Watson.  But the governor rejected their nominations. The appointed Coastal Commissioner will represent Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte counties.

The governor is now asking for a least one member of the Board of Supervisors and one City Council Member to represent the North Coast region.
