League of Women Voters Draws in Over 400 Community Members for 28th Annual Luncheon

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – The 28th Annual League of Women Voters luncheon drew over 400 of Humboldt County’s political leaders and activists.

During the luncheon, District One Supervisor Rex Bohn gave a State of the Community address. He spoke of the ongoing challenges that the county faces.

Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commissioner Cassandra Hesseltine was the key note speaker at this year’s luncheon. She spoke about film projects that have happened here on the North Coast.

Civic Contribution Awards were also given to Michele McKeegan and the Dell Arte International theater program.
