Humboldt County, Ca. (KIEM) A man is home safe and sound after being rescued from the Trinity River this weekend.

Saturday, a 32-year-old man was swept away by the river’s strong current and had to be rescued by authorities.

Our jatrissa Wooten spoke to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and brings us some river and beach safety tips.
