CR softball signs 10 HDN players

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)- Maggie White has spent the last 23 years as the College of the Redwoods softball head coach but see’s never seen anything like this.

With the Corsairs season just wrapped up, the veteran coach has added ten new players and they are all from the HDN.

With a large gathering of family, friends and coaches on Monday afternoon, the new Corsairs signed to play at CR next season. Of the ten, four are from league champion McKinleyville, four from Eureka, and one each from Fortuna and Del Norte.

White told Redwood News this is a big day for the CR softball program and the entire athletics department.
