Residents Come Together For The 13th Annual City Yard Sale In Fortuna

Fortuna, Ca. (KIEM) — Earlier today, people in Fortuna got the chance to stroll down Main Street to check out the thirteenth annual city-wide yard sale.

Downtown Fortuna was buzzing with activity as residents and visitors alike got the chance to browse for a little something to take home. Stalls on both sides of the street sold a variety of items…this year there were antiques, plants, clothing, shoes, and jewelry. If you needed a break, you could even grab a cup of coffee or some local food. One organizer and business owner, Marilyn Strehl, hopes the event will bring more shoppers to town.

If you didn’t get a chance to stop by, the event is held every first Saturday of June, so make sure to check it out next summer.
