Mendocino County, Ca., (KIEM) More housing on the way for Mendocino County.

The county’s department of planning and building services announced the completion of two sets of free accessory dwelling unit plans for Mendocino County residents.

Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) are typically smaller housing units on the same lot of a regular house.

One model is an 816 square foot 2 bed 1 bath home and the larger ADU is about 1,100 square feet, a 3 bed 2 bath home.
