Longtime zoo employee celebrates 19th birthday

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)- Wednesday was a special day at the Sequoia Park Zoo. Staff celebrated the birthday for a longtime four-legged employee.

It’s Chester the cat’s 19th birthday.  A noontime ceremony was held and Chester got to enjoy a delicious fish cake and other goodies.

Chester is the official greeter and can been seen daily roaming the zoo grounds.
