4th of July Events

HUMBOLDT COUNTY (KIEM)– Fourth of July is a day away and if you haven’t already made plans, there are a bunch of events taking place in Humboldt County.

Eureka is holding their Fourth of July celebration in Old Town. The festival starts at 10 a.m., and spans five blocks with a variety of food, crafts, music and more. The Madaket will have 20 minute cruise rides, and don’t forget the fireworks at 10 p.m.

Arcata is hosting the Fourth of July Jubilee with a bubble parade at 10 a.m. and an afternoon Crabs game. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a variety of events for everyone.

Ferndale is giving kiddos a chance to ride a fire engine at 10 a.m. and a Fourth of July parade at noon.

And in Benbow, the fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m., so make sure to get there early to get a spot. Seating along the waterfront is free.
