EUREKA (KIEM)- In honor of 4th of July, Eureka kicked off their celebration with a variety of fun events for everyone.

It is the staple of American history, the day the American Patriots defeated the British, establishing the beautiful place we all call home today.

In Old Town, five blocks were shut down to celebrate the holiday, including vendor booth, a variety of food and drinks, fine art, bouncy houses, classic cars, horse carriage rides, and that’s only to name a few.

So when you throw those burgers on the grill or set the fireworks off, remember the power of how it brought us all together to share the day.
