Santa Rose Diocese Youth Visit Palco Marsh Four Years Later

EUREKA (KIEM) – Four years ago, several kids from Santa Rosa came up to help clean up the Palco Marsh.           

Those same kids that helped up clean up the site, visited the area a few years later. Kids from the Santa Rosa Dioceses, Betty Chinn, and Sergeant LaFrance of EPD took a stroll through the Palco Marsh.

For the last week, over twenty kids from the Santa Rosa Diocese came up to volunteer with Betty Chinn.

Members of the mission trip say, this is a chance to show younger kids the problems that homeless population face and teaches them to how to be empathetic and compassionate.
