Usal Fire, West of Legget at 30% containment

Mendocino County, Ca., (KIEM) A fire is actively burning in Mendocino County shutting down Usal Road.

Cal fire says the “Usal Fire” is actively burning near Usal Creek and Usal Road.

Fire crews say that the fire is up to 130 acres in size and is said to be at 30% containment.

According to Cal Fire, a shelter is set up at the Usal Campground. No injuries have been reported.
