Six Rivers National Forest Fire Crews Working to Gain Ground on Tucker Fire

MODOC COUNTY (KIEM) – Fire crews are trying to grain ground on the Tucker Fire. So far, the Tucker Fire scorched over 2000 acres. Fortunately, no structures are threatened but power lines are impacted.

Six Rivers National Forest has sent over a strike team and three hot shot crews to battle the flames.

As fire season starts to peak, fire officials say, to be on the lookout for fire restrictions and to know your escape routes.
