Salvation Army and Walmart Hold Stuff the Bus School Supplies Drive

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — The Salvation Army is teaming up with our local Walmart for their stuff the bus school supplies drive. It’s a nationwide event and everything donated today will go to local school children in need.

According to the Salvation Army, the most needed supplies this year are flash cards, pocket folders, three ring binders, rulers, pencils, notebooks, and backpacks. For those that are in need of school supplies, the Salvation Army is taking signups this week. They say that events like this are so important because school children need the proper supplies to do their best and succeed.

If you would like to donate, you still have a chance. The stuff the bus event is going on until 6:30 pm Saturday.
