Laundromat Fire in Hoopa

HOOPA, Ca (KIEM)- A used-to-be laundromat and car wash in Hoopa is now rubble after a fire breaks out.

The Big Hill Laundromat is a mix of ashes, burnt wood, and blown-out windows.

The fire broke around 3 in the morning on July 27th. The Hoopa Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene. They worked hard throughout the morning to keep the fire from spreading to nearby vegetation.

The laundromat has been out of service for the past several years and the car wash has been unused for about a year now.

The cause of the fire is unknown and an investigation is underway.
